Over 50 years ago, we began our journey.

The vacuum business has changed drastically since 1957. At that time, we began by restoring and repairing vacuums and also supplied belts, bags, accessories, plus we offered product support. Long's is the same family-owned business since 1957.

The demand for low prices has resulted in cheap, low-grade, disposable vacuums with low grade plastic and wood having replaced metal. Bushing motors, which are the heart of the vacuum, do little more than make noise and have a very short service life. Our dumpsites and the landfills are full of broken vacuums.

Long's Vacuum does not follow this "throw away" model of business.

We are committed to quality and service, just as we were 50 years ago. So are our manufacturing partners! There are very few players left. We represent four of them: Miele, Riccar, SEBO, and IQAir.
